Want to make exemplary rubrics in a short amount of time? Try RubiStar out!

RubiStar is a free tool to help teachers create quality rubrics.

Registered users can save and edit rubrics online, but you don’t have to register to create a rubric. If you do register, you can access them from home, school, or on the road. Registration and use of this tool is free! Since RubiStar is supported by a grant from the U.S. Dept. of Education, you have to enter your zip code to show where RubiStar is being used.

You can choose from any content area

Then you just start entering text into the fields

You can either choose from the provided drop down choices, edit it to fit your needs, or type your own.

Finally you click SUBMIT and TA-DA, you have a customized rubric! You can print it from here, download to your computer, or you can save it to the database if you created an account.
