What have you noticed about your students fine motor development skills? Isn’t it scary? Each year more and more students are coming to school with weak fine motor development.Often times these same students have difficulty coordinating eye and hand movement, holding a crayon or playing with puzzles. Their hands are weak and underdeveloped and they tend to avoid fine motor tasks. They may experience frustration when writing their name, zipping their coat, opening milk cartons, or putting on boots or opening their backpacks. Do you have any students like this?
You have to check out Finger Fuantics, Fine Motor Development Program. It includes a quick screener and 50+ Fine Motor activities using items readily available at home or school. It is now available on DOWNLOAD as well. Visit: https://sis4teachers.org/store/
In addition there is a Finger Fuantics Parent Companion that was made especially for parents. The book includes the same activities as the teacher book however it is written in parent-friendly terms. This is great to have as a home-school connection through a parent night or Kindergarten Round-Up (inquire about bulk discount). Parent can come and make ‘n’ take activities to use with their child.
