D.C.'s Number Bond Race provides an opportunity for students to practice decomposing numbers and improving fluency with multiplication/division facts. Play as an individual game where students try to beat their previous time or race in pairs.
Students can work at their own speed to figure out the missing part in each number bond and gradually increase their fluency. Start off with 5-10, and then when students are ready, move them to 11-20.
