Quiet Math Mat

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Do you love to do interactive math games with your students but dislike all of the noise that is created from manipulatives clinging and clanging on the desk/table? Here is a SOLUTION for you!

Quiet Math Mats are a perfect solutions. They are easy to make and fairly inexpensive. Take shelf/drawer liner (bought at Target or the Dollar Store) and cut mats for each student to use during math time. You will hear no pinging of dice, and you will discover that the manipulatives will “stick” on the mat versus scattering all over the floor.
