Daily 5 Choice Cards

Sep 18, 2013

The school year is underway and organization, routines and “training” those children are key to a successful year! This summer I met a great Kindergarten teacher, Lindsay Derocher! She and her sister (graphic designer) work closely together and do AMAZING things!I was presenting at a workshop with Lindsay’s staff on Math Daily 5/Math Workshop and we were discussing that dreaded time of having students pick where they are going to (Read to Self, Math with Technology, Math with Someone, etc.) for Daily 5. We discussed how valuable it is for students to make choices, however we don’t want it to take away from instructional time either. Well so be it…. she has this great “Choice Card System” for Reading that is a FREEBIE on her TpT site (I’ve nudged her to do it for math too!). So I have put her link below with a picture of this great easy-to-use system. I hope you enjoy it and check out her other great stuff!
