Math Mights Addition and Subtraction Dice

Each set of dice includes two (2) dice - one addition dice and one subtraction dice (colors may vary).

Addition Dice includes each character which relates to their strategy below:

• D.C (decomposing/composing)
• Abracus (compensation)
• Value Pak (partial sums)
• T-Pop's (traditional)

Subtraction Dice includes each character which relates to their strategy below:

• Springling (counting up or back)
• Minni and Subbi (compensation)
• D.C. (decomposing/composing)
• T-Pop's (traditional)

Build mathematical strategies for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division from whole number to decimal with our Math Mights dice! The citizens of Mathville represent each strategy so students can associate the characters with the strategies and begin to use mathematical vocabulary appropriately. Students roll the dice and, using the character/strategy they get, show their understanding for a variety of strategies.
